To The Bush Republicans
Thank you for teaching my 8 year old that most of those respectable looking
elderly men carrying Bibles and talking about moral values are REALLY
thinking about little boys.
Thank you for making my 12 year old boy scared to go to a restroom in a

Thank the President for setting an example, that you don't need to read
newspapers, study, be intelligent, or even have common sense to be

Thank you for teaching my children that it is okay to kill people to make

Thank you for making the world a far more dangerous place than it was when
Clinton was in office.
Thank you for making the world hate Americans and look at us the way the

children's future with your massive spending, and stealing,
putting every many, woman, and child in debt for almost $500,000.00 now.
Oh and I almost forgot to thank your brother Neal Bush who destroyed all the
savings and loans in America.
And don't forget to thank your granddad Prescott Bush the traitor that put
Hitler in power.
My dad wants to thank you for the Bush Steel your family sold to Hitler that
made the gun the Nazis shot him with.
Oh, and my brother that is going to Iraq wants to thank you Republicans for
putting Saddam in power and having Rumsfeld, with President Reagan's help,
give Iraq the guns that will be used to shoot at him.
My sister, whose son was killed in Iraq, wants to thank the Republicans for
not supplying him with armor which could've saved his life.
I'd like to go on and God knows that I could spend the rest of my life
writing all that the Republicans have done for America but it's time to eat
so I'll continue later.

You know something, conservatives?

You're absolutely right.

Any "facts" presented by a Democrat or a liberal should be discounted automatically simply because the person is a Democrat or a liberal; and likewise, any facts presented by a Republican or a conservative should be accepted as gospel truth simply because that person is a Republican or a conservative. After all, it's a well-known fact that God sits on the right hand of Republicans and conservatives and takes dictation on how best to run the universe from them.

And you're right: it's perfectly appropriate for Republicans and conservatives to smear a Democratic President for having sex in the Oval Office, and to continue smearing him for seven years after he's left the Oval Office, and to keep smearing him in perpetuity because by denying he had an affair, he truly was obstructing "justice" and the security of the entire nation — indeed, the fate of the entire Western Hemisphere and ultimately, the preservation of the Kingdom of Heaven rested upon whether or not the President got a hummer in the White House from a person to whom he wasn't married. That's really so much more important than a President who lied about his initial reasons for invading Iraq, and then changing his reasons for invading Iraq to make it sound more "noble" than what it eventually boiled down to this past week: "Do Americans want to pay $8 or $9 a gallon for gasoline?"

And it's perfectly appropriate for Republicans and conservatives to smear not only a former President, but also that former President's family, including his daughter (who had absolutely nothing to do with the actions of that former President), and his wife who is also running for President — completely disregarding the fact that in reality, there is little difference between her policies and that of the current sitting President, and that she supported and continues, for the most part, to support the current President's policies. If the former President was Satan, then his daughter must certainly be the spawn of Satan and therefore she is fair game.

And you're absolutely right: it's perfectly appropriate to smear not only the previous President, but any Democrat who has served in the White House since 1933. America was doing so well in 1933, especially after Herbert Hoover was left cleaning up the mess left by Calvin Coolidge and Warren G. Harding (both great Republican saints) — and doing a rather incompetent job of cleaning up the mess. Americans would have been better off maintaining a status quo of 25 percent unemployment and deflation, and doing absolutely nothing to jump start the economy by putting people back to work doing public works projects and establishing agencies such as the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to protect peoples' savings, to name two. Yup: FDR was a card-carrying Communist and a Mephistopheles in a wheel chair and quite possibly Joseph Stalin's own personal succubus, because Republicans and conservatives say so (even though they're the first in line to start collecting their Social Security checks and their Medicare just as soon as those same Republicans and conservatives retire). Harry Truman, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson and Jimmy Carter were also card-carrying Communists.

If Republicans and conservatives say that John Kennedy started the Vietnam War, then John Kennedy started the Vietnam War (even if Eisenhower send in advisors in the 1950s after the French were defeated by the Viet Minh in the battle of Dien Bien Phu and appointed Ngo Dinh Diem to lead South Vietnam after the partitioning of Vietnam in the Geneva Conference of 1954). Any statement presented by a Republican or a conservative trumps any fact presented by a Democrat, a liberal, or any historical document (and we all know that the only valid history is that presented by Republicans or conservatives — the truth be damned).

And if Republicans and conservatives say that John Kerry faked his service and never served in the military (or if he did, his wounds were self-inflicted), or went AWOL and never completed his stint in Vietnam; and in any case was unfit to be President simply because he was John Kerry — who are Democrats and liberals to say anything to the contrary? If Republicans and conservatives say that Max Cleland deliberately wounded himself, and that his "injuries" were fake and nothing more than a bad Photoshop job — well, it must be the truth because Republicans and conservatives truly are infallible and inerrant! If Republicans and conservatives say that Al Gore is a "fag" then he'd better get down on his knees and start servicing Larry Craig and Mark Foley, because if they say Gore's a "fag", then by golly — he's a fag!

And it's important for us Democrats and liberals to realize that if Republicans and conservatives refer to us as Demoncrats, rats, crap, shit, traitors, mass-murderers, baby killers, sodomites, AIDS carriers, morons, profoundly stupid, terrorists, "gross, fat, sweaty pigs", juveniles, "girlie men", homosexuals, fags, bitches, Stalinists, bin Ladens and Charles Manson; deliberately ignore any referenced articles we present and say we are jealous of their "facts" (because any article presented on any conservative site counts as a "fact"); tell us to leave "their" country (the Anglo side of my family has been here since 1670 and the Cherokee side was here a hell of a lot longer than that, so I'm not leaving!); and that conservatives and Republicans can "express their opinion" by using any crudity limited only by the creativity of their imagination — they're only doing that for our benefit and the fact that they say these things automatically means these things are true!

Likewise, if a conservative or Republican says I am a chair - then by golly, I am a chair!

The important thing we Democrats and liberals have to realize is that Republicans and conservatives may refer to us any way they feel like doing (again, limited only by the creativity of their imagination and/or any psychological disturbances they may be having at the time) but Democrats and liberals must NOT respond in kind, because to do so means we "hate America" and "we want the terrorists to win" and "we hate the President" (and it's ever so important that we not hate the President for any reason, even if conservatives and Republicans despised Clinton and made it very clear they felt that way) and "it's not nice" and most importantly of all, "it's not fair."

So, yes conservatives — you're absolutely right. The only reason we Democrats and liberals would ever attack omniscient, omnipotent, infallible and inerrant Republicans and conservatives like yourselves is because we don't know better and we're just trying to make ourselves feel better against a righteous and invincible foe. We now understand that God sits on the right hand of the Republican Party and exists solely to do your bidding. Please forgive us for having not understood that you have been doing this for our own good.

YOU WORRY ME (a must read)

This pilot hit the nail on the head in his open letter. He needs to be awarded a medal for having the TESTICULAR FORTUITUDE to say all this in a very profound way!

The paper stated today that some Muslim doctor is saying we are profiling him because he has been checked three times while getting on an airplane.

The following is a letter from a pilot. This well spoken man, who is a pilot with American Airlines, says what is in his heart, beautifully.... Read, absorb and pass this on.

I've been trying to say this since 9-11, but you worry me. I wish you didn't. I wish when I walked down the streets of this country that I love, that your color and culture still blended with the beautiful human landscape we enjoy in this country. But you don't blend in anymore. I notice you, and it worries me.

I notice you because I can't help it anymore. People from your homelands, professing to be Muslims, have been attacking and killing my fellow citizens and our friends for more than 20 years now. I don't fully understand their grievances and hate, but I know that nothing can justify the inhumanity of their attacks.

On September 11, nineteen ARAB-MUSLIMS hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favorite coaches, fearless public servants, and children's mothers.

The Palestinians celebrated, The Iraqis were overjoyed as was most of the Arab world. So, I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage and hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists.

But I need your help.

As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to tell the difference between you, and the Arab/Muslim terrorist.

How do I differentiate between the true Arab/Muslim-Americans and the Arab/Muslim terrorists in our communities who are attending our schools, enjoying our parks, and living in OUR communities under the protection of OUR constitution, while they plot the next attack that will slaughter these same good neighbors and children?

The events of September 11th changed the answer. It is not my responsibility to determine which of you embraces our great country, with ALL of its religions, with ALL of its different citizens, with all of its faults. It is time for every Arab/Muslim in this country to determine it for me.

I want to know, I demand to know, and I have a right to know, whether or not you love America. Do you pledge allegiance to its flag? Do you proudly display it in front of your house, or on your car? Do you pray in your many daily prayers that Allah will bless this nation, that He will protect and prosper it? Or do you pray that Allah with destroy it in one of your Jihads? Are you thankful for the freedom that only this nation affords? A freedom that was paid for by the blood of hundreds of thousands of patriots who gave their lives for this country? Are you willing to preserve this freedom by also paying the ultimate sacrifice? Do you love America?

If this is your commitment, then I need YOU to start letting ME know about it.

Your Muslim leaders in this nation should be flooding the media at this time with hard facts on your faith, and what hard actions you are taking as a community and as a religion to protect the United States of America.

Please, no more benign overtures of regret for the death of the innocent because I worry about who you regard as innocent. No more benign overtures of condemnation for the unprovoked attacks because I worry about what is unprovoked to you. I am not interested in any more sympathy. I am only interested in action.

What will you do for America - our great country - at this time of crisis, at this time of war?

I want to see Arab-Muslims waving the AMERICAN flag in the streets. I want to hear you chanting "Allah Bless America " I want to see young Arab/Muslim men enlisting in the military. I want to see a commitment of money, time, and emotion to the victims of this butchering and to this nation as a whole.

The FBI has a list of over 400 people they want to talk to regarding the WTC attack. Many of these people live and socialize right now in Muslim communities. You know them. You know where they are. Hand them over to us, now! But I have seen little even approaching this sort of action. Instead I have seen an already closed and secretive community close even tighter. You have disappeared from the streets. You have posted armed security guards at your facilities. You have threatened lawsuits. You have screamed for protection from reprisals.

The very few Arab/Muslim representatives that HAVE appeared in the media were defensive and equivocating. They seemed more concerned with making sure that the United States proves who was responsible before taking action. They seemed more concerned with protecting their fellow Muslims from violence directed towards them in the United States and abroad than they did with supporting our country and denouncing "leaders" like Khadafi, Hussein, Farrakhan, and Arafat.

If the true teachings of Islam proclaim tolerance and peace and love for all people, then I want chapter and verse from the Koran and statements from popular Muslim leaders to back it up. What good is it if the teachings in the Koran are good, and pure, and true, when your "leaders" are teaching fanatical interpretations, terrorism, and intolerance?

It matters little how good Islam SHOULD BE if huge numbers of the world's Muslims interpret the teachings of Mohammed incorrectly and adhere to a degenerative form of the religion. A form that has been demonstrated to us over and over again. A form whose structure is built upon a foundation of violence, death, and suicide. A form whose members are recruited from the prisons around the world. A form whose members (some as young as five years old) are seen day after day, week in and week out, year after a year, marching in the streets around the world, burning effigies of our presidents, burning the American flag, shooting weapons into the air. A form whose members convert from a peaceful religion, only to take up arms against the great United States of America, the country of their birth. A form whose rules are so twisted, that their traveling members refuse to show their faces at airport security checkpoints, in the name of Islam.

We will NEVER allow the attacks of September 11, or any others for that matter, to take away that which is so precious to us: Our rights under the greatest constitution in the world.

I want to know where every Arab Muslim in this country stands and I think it is my right and the right of every true citizen of this country to demand it. A right paid for by the blood of thousands of my brothers and sisters who died protecting the very constitution that is protecting you and your family. I am pleading with you to let me know.

I want you here as my brother, my neighbor, my friend, as a fellow American. But there can be no gray areas or ambivalence regarding your allegiance and it is up to YOU, to show ME, where YOU stand. Until then... "YOU WORRY ME!"

If this dishonest and corrupt administration which has lied us into a war from which many of its members are profiting either financially or politically or both, which has advocated torture, broken treaties, and committed other illegal acts, dragged this country's honor through the mud and made our previously revered nation the most hated nation in the world, is not impeached, what future administration can be held accountable for any of its acts ever again? It should be impeached because of its dishonesty and above all for its gross incompetence in virtually every area.

Even the economic gains some are experiencing in the stock market, for instance, are mostly from war spending -- there is always an economic boom during war time.

Even George Tenet has now said that Cheney, whose former company Halliburton is the single largest corporate beneficiary of the Iraq War, was the main lobbyist behind the push for war.

This administration has asked no one but the soldiers and their families to sacrifice. The rest of us are supposed to "go shopping," ignore the carnage and count our stock profits. Blood money.

Cheney, Bush, and perhaps others in the administration must be impeached. Then, perhaps, we will regain some of the prestige and values America formerly symbolized to other people of the world.

Dear Senator Warner,

Are members of your party more interested in sustaining the Bush ego, or are
they more concerned about the fact that this complete idiot is forcing our
troops to remain in the middle of a civil war?

That's like asking one cop to go settled a domestic dispute when the husband
and wife both are armed and ready to kill each other.

I don't care about your party affiliations, I don't care about that Bush
doesn't want to leave office having instigated a war that HE lost! I care more
about a military with soldiers being forced into 5 tours of duty, which didn't
even happen during world war II. I am more concerned about the stability of
the middle east, which this war has destabilized. We had an ally in the middle
east, whether you admit it or not: Saddam Hussein. If you care to debate
that, I'll be happy to send you photos of members of the Reagan administration
making deals with them. The important thing is Saddam was an enemy of Al
Qaida, and Bush (not we) destroyed Saddam. That gave the green light for Al Qaida
to enter Iraq.

The only countries in a position to destroy Al Qaida and stabilize Iraq now
are it's neighbors. It might take some dictatorial abuse, but that's no worse
than the daily nightmare of their schools, police stations, shops,
neighborhoods and houses being blown up!

THERE IS ONLY ONE REASON WE ARE STILL IN IRAQ: BUSH'S EGO! If you are more
concerned about that than the well being of our troops and the mental and
physical well being of our soldiers and our economy, that you might want to
question your loyalties.

It's time to approve the deadline. If Bush wants to veto is, then he can
lose his funding for the war and bring the troops home sooner.

If he wants to leave them there without funding, well I believe that would
be an impeachable offense. Even you can't deny Bush's crimes are far worse then
someone else fooling around with an intern and then lying about it.
